Picnics

There are no tables or grills available in the park. During the summer no fires, grills, or any other cooking devices are allowed on the beaches where the lifeguards are stationed. Vistors can have picnics on the ocean side beach areas south of the swimming are and along the beach in the Southern Natural Area. Fires must be at least 50 feet east of the dunes and must be extinguished before leaving the area. Island Beach State Park requires visitors to 'Carry In/Carry Out' their garbage.

NO Alcoholic beverages are permitted in the park.
